VEHICLE MAINTENANCE TIPS


Abrupt acceleration leads to greater fuel consumption. Don't floor accelerator immediately after starting. Shift to top gear at about 40-50 km. Maintain a constant speed. Don't keep changing gears. Maintain proper tyre pressure. Use only recommended spark plugs. Check your air cleaner. Dirt restricts air flow and increases fuel consumption. If your clutch is slipping, get it checked immediately. Check electrolyte level, specific gravity and battery terminals periodically.

    People show a great interest in buying a car but when it comes to maintenance they turn lazy. This in turn result in bad condition of the car. it is very important to maintain a car as this will lead to long life of the car with the same old shine.

    Thanks for the tips. It sure is very informative. I do not recommend ordinary petrol for cars as this could harm the engine in the long run.
